dream
as i was about to reach the other student and pass them the ball, i heard a rolling sound in the background, like a shopping cart going really fast.
all of a sudden, a hospital bed slammed into my back with the force of a speeding car.
i was shaken to full alertness immediately and it seems as vivid as yesterday. to this day i can't figure out how i dreamed before i was asleep.
